ANTLER ALERT
This is an awards assembly held every Friday at 9:00 a.m. in the gym. Prairie Vale staff and students celebrate accomplishments and have fun together. This year, Antler Alert may be a little different, as we explore alternative options, either in class or virtually due to health and safety procedures.
ANTLER DAY
Parent volunteers are sometimes needed on Antler Day…contact Coach Theimer to help plan or run the fun fitness events on a day when everyone is a winner!
DEER MOMS
Moms volunteer weekly to help out the teachers. This is on hold until further notice, due to health and safety procedures.
DONUTS WITH GROWNUPS
This event breakfast and entertainment from the 2nd graders. This may be substituted this year with an alternative format.
PRAIRIE VALE OPEN HOUSE EXTRAVAGANZA
Families are invited to come one evening in the 3rd nine weeks and view all of the wonderful programs and activities that children do at Prairie Vale.This may be substituted this year with an alternative format.
OLDIES BUT GOODIES DAY/GRANDPARENTS' DAY
For 1st graders - grandparents or special friends are invited to visit the school for afternoon tea and to see our friends sing a song or two! This may be substituted this year with an alternative format.
WALK-A-THON
A yearly fundraising event where students get donations for walking and getting exercise!!
THANKSGIVING LUNCH
All students in 3rd grade invite their parents or special friends to eat lunch on this day and entertain them with holiday songs. This may be substituted this year with an alternative format.
WINTER LUNCH
All students in the Kindergarten invite their parents or special friends to eat lunch at school on this day and watch them perform. This may be substituted this year with an alternative format.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT
This is a fun night for parents and students to play fun games at school, the night before the Walkathon. Families hang out making new friends and greeting old ones! This may be substituted this year with an alternative format.
