HISTORY CLUB
This club is for students who want to read historical non-fiction and obtain certain levels of recognition for meeting goals of 5 or more history books.

SEQUOYAH BOOK CLUB
StudentDeer Creek Prairie Vale Elementary Media Centers in grades 3  who read 4 or more books from the current Sequoyah list are recognized.

Media Center Penalties
We do not charge late fees at PV. Students with late or lost books may not continue to check out books from the Media Center until the late books are returned or payment has been made for lost books. Checkout privileges will be reinstated after payment is received for damages or lost books.

Birthday Book Club
We encourage you to donate a book to our media center to honor you child's birthday. A selection of hardback books will be available from which your child may choose. These books have been selected with content and durability in mind (These books will be checked out a lot). We ask for a donation of $10.00 to participate in the Birthday Book Club.

Book Fairs
Prairie Vale Elementary Media center hosts two book fairs per year. The first one is usually in October or November. The second is usually scheduled in March or April. All profits from the book fairs will be used in the media program. This will be substituted this year with an alternative format.
