<About Me>

Hello! My name is Denise Austin and I am thrilled to be teaching Art to the students of Deer Creek Prairie Vale!

I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design. I continued my education by working towards a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Southwest Baptist University.

I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love everyday! I have the opportunity to encourage, enrich, and educate children of all ages about the importance of creativity through art. Each day is a new adventure to explore and learn about various artists and media!

I look forward to an exciting year of learning and creating!!!!!
