Hello My Name Is...

James Gibbs

I set the scene of our story in sunny Fort Walton Beach Florida. In the year of 1978 and the date February 27th .The birds were chirping, waves were crashing on the shore, seagulls were umm seagulling, and in the distance a cry was heard from a baby that would one day become awesome.

His young life was filled with wonderful teachers, who tried their hardest to not retire when he came into their class, and principals who set aside time everyday to visit with him (for advanced lessons not punishment). These mentors gave him the love and knowledge that would one day drive him to his goal and help create the man he is today.

As he entered into adulthood he was fascinated with the human mind and how it worked, so like any curious person he entered into a program and graduated from Oklahoma Christian with a degree in psychology in 2001. As he wandered the land trying to find his next obstacle to overcome our hero felt like something was missing. To find the meaning of his life he entered into a state of mental awareness, some might call it zoning out, and understood that all the years he had tutored children at a Kumon center had given him the experience and desire to work in a school environment.

Once again our hero passed through the gates of another University where he would study to become a teacher. While studying he was bewitched by a beautiful maiden in his final class before graduating in December of 2004. Many tell the tale of the maiden and our hero as though the hero threw himself at her feet begging her to marry him, but I say nay it was the maiden who begged him to marry her (just do not tell the maiden I said that). In the summer of 2005 our hero and the maiden, Annette, were married and began a new adventure together.

The hero would go on to become a teacher in the Kingdom of Deer Creek, and his bewitching maiden would soon join him there as well. As the years went by they were given the gift of a daughter in 2007 and a son in 2011. These children were born into awesomeness through their fathers bloodline and would learn to rule the household every chance they could. You may be asking yourself, “But when did our hero become awesome”, and I would answer that with another question “When was he not awesome?"
